All down certified according to the Responsible Down Standard is sourced from well-treated ducks and geese, which were not force-fed and/or live plucked thus strictly raised respecting animal welfare aspects. The down is marked by the official “RDS Certified” logo and offers full supply chain transparency. It’s also leading standard for animal welfare in down and feather products

Features & Benefits

Face warmer
Face warmer

Pre-formed hood that adjusts to the head; doesn’t bother your sleep and provides the perfect amount of warmth. The hood can be individually adjusted to the head with a drawcord.

Thermal collar
Thermal collar

The thermal collar closes the sleeping bag tightly to prevent warmth from escaping. This is very important in low temperatures. An integrated drawcord allows additional, individual adjustment to the body.

Thermal hood
Thermal hood

Additional thermal collar around the face, usually offered with 3- and 4-season sleeping bags.

Draft tube with zip protection
Draft tube with zip protection

Thermal insulation along both sides of the zipper to avoid cold bridges. This additional insulation is important in low temperatures.

Two bag connected
Two bag connected

The zipper goes all the way to the foot box and can thus be opened completely; the sleeping bag can be used as a blanket. Two sleeping bags with the same type of zipper can be connected (make sure that a sleeping bag with a zipper on the left is connected with asleeping bag with a zipper on the right).

Down 80:20 / 700

80% down and 20% feather  700 fill power

The fill Power measures the loft of a down or fibre filled garment.

The higher the fill power, the more air is trapped between the filling.

More air means better insulation, thus less filling is needed which consequently reduces the weight of the garment.

Down/feather proportions

Insulation effect of the feather is weaker than down, as down is more 3 dimensional thus trapping more air.

90:10 proportion is a very good quality as it mainly contains soft down.

Tecloft comfort

For three-season trekking, Tecloft Comfort offers excellent warmth, medium loft and a soft touch. With 6 denier 4-hole hollow fiber and the ideal warmth to carry-weight ratio, it’s as comfortable for sleeping as it is to take with you.
