Product description

The colourful McKINLEY Tara AQ is a fun girls’ insulated jacket offering perfect breathability and waterproofness in bad weather conditions with fully taped seams to keep the wet out. The cozy fleece inside the neck and at the back is especially soft and warm for young ski explorers. For the best fit, the cuffs and hem are adjustable and the elbow is shaped for ergonomic comfort. A snap-off hood, inner cuffs and snow skirt ensure girls stay warm and dry and the functional pocket allows easy access to a lift pass. Reflective detailing increases visibility in low light.

Features & Benefits

Fully taped seams
Fully taped seams

Every seam on the garment is covered by a special tape to ensure waterproofing. Taping seams does not only create an air and water-tight seal, but it also adds strength and longevity to the garment.

Shaped elbow
Shaped elbow

Shaped elbows are commonly used for functional sports jackets to enhance the performance as well as the ease and range of motion. The preformed shape imitates and supports the natural resting position of the arm.

The chin guard is a piece of fabric or fleece covering the top end of the zipper and offering protection at the chin against chafing when the zipper is pulled all the way up.

Fixed Snowskirt

Kids Safety

The EU standard EN 14682:2008-02 identifies potential safety hazards in children’s clothing caused by cords and drawstrings.

It defines types of hazard, levels of risk and the vulnerability of children, and sets recommendations to minimise the risk of accidental entrapments by cords and drawstrings in children’s clothing.

The norm suggests the textile industry’s self-commitment to prevent and avoid tear proof and continuous cords especially in the neck area of children's wear.
